Link an Authenticator App

To link an authenticator app, navigate to Profile → Login & Security in the PayRewards account.

For added security, a one-time verification code is required each time a sign-in occurs. This code may be delivered via SMS or generated by an authenticator app. Multi-factor authentication (MFA) preferences can be updated during the sign-in process.

Authenticator apps, such as Google Authenticator and Microsoft Authenticator, provide one of the most secure and convenient ways to access a PayRewards account.

How to set up an authenticator app: 

1. Download a preferred authenticator app on a mobile device

2. Log in to PayRewards account

3. Navigate to Profile → Login & Security

4. Select Link an authenticator app

5. Open the authenticator app, add a new account, and scan the QR code displayed on the screen

6. Enter the six-digit verification code generated by the authenticator app to complete setup

Note: If PayRewards is accessed on the same device where the authenticator app is installed, the QR code may not be scannable. In this case, select Get a setup key and enter the key manually in the authenticator app.

When prompted, enter the login email address and the setup key, then continue with step 6 to complete the setup process.
