Business Bank Accounts Only
At this time, PayRewards only supports business bank accounts.
When adding a bank account via Plaid, you may be asked to upload a bank statement. This is a standard verification step used when we’re unable to confirm that the linked account is a business bank account.
Note: We are actively working toward enabling consumer bank accounts in the future, but this is not currently supported. If a bank account cannot be verified as a business account, additional documentation may be required.
Why this is required
Plaid helps us verify whether a bank account is a business or consumer account. In some cases, this verification may be incomplete or unavailable.
To verify the bank account is a business bank account and not a consumer one, we may request a bank statement.
How to upload your document
If prompted, you'll receive a notification to upload your bank statement immediately.
Once submitted, our team will review your document. If everything looks good, your business bank account will be linked as normal. If additional information is needed, we’ll reach out via email
The bank statement must contain:
- Account Number
- Account Type
- Dated within the last 60 days
Important: This is a one-time or occasional verification step depending on the account, providing clear and complete documentation will help avoid delays. Your information is handled securely and used only for verification purposes.
