Earn PayRewards Points just by spreading the word. As an account owner, you can share your unique referral link with fellow business owners to earn additional PayRewards points.
How does it work?
Log in to your PayRewards account, grab your unique referral link, and share it with fellow business owners. There's no code to enter; the referral is captured automatically from the sign-up link. Once your referee reaches the designated spend milestone, you'll both receive PayRewards points.
Who is eligible?
Only Account Owners can access the Refer and Earn page and earn referral bonus points. Users with other roles won't see the page.
For a referral to be valid, your referral must sign up as an Account Owner and be a new PayRewards customer. Existing customers cannot be referred.
How do I refer someone?

Navigate to the bottom-left corner of your dashboard and select Refer and Earn.

Share your unique referral link
Your personal referral link is displayed on the page. Copy it to share via any channel — email, LinkedIn, WhatsApp, or any other method. Your referral code is embedded in the link, so there's nothing extra for your contact to enter.

Or send directly via email from the platform
Enter your contact's email address on the Refer and Earn page and PayRewards will send an invite on your behalf.
Referral statuses
You can track every referral from the Refer and Earn page in your dashboard. Here's what each status means:

| Pending | Your referral has signed up but hasn't reached the spend milestone yet. You can send them a reminder from the Refer and Earn page. |
| Eligible | Milestone completed — points are on their way to both accounts within 30 days. |
| Not Eligible | The referral didn't qualify. Common reasons: the sign-up didn't use your referral link, or the spend milestone was not reached within the designated timeframe. |
Frequently asked questions
I've sent a referral — why can't I see it in my list?
Referrals only appear in your list once the Account Owner has signed up using your unique link. If they're not showing, they may not have completed sign-up yet, or they may have signed up without using your link. Once someone has registered without it, the referral can't be applied retroactively.
Who can I refer?
You can refer any business owner who doesn't already have a PayRewards account. They must sign up as an Account Owner using your referral link — that's the only role eligible to earn bonus points.
If you accidentally sent your link to someone who isn't a business owner, you can resend it to the correct person — as long as they haven't already signed up.
Can I refer someone who already has a PayRewards account?
No. The referral only counts if the person is a new customer signing up for the first time. Existing PayRewards customers are not eligible to be referred.
Does my referral need to enter a code when signing up?
No — the referral is captured automatically from the sign-up URL. As long as your contact uses your referral link to register, there's nothing extra for them to do.
Why am I seeing an email address I didn't send a referral to?
Your list shows the Account Owner who signed up using your link — not necessarily the email address you originally shared it with. If the business owner used a different email (e.g. their personal address) when signing up, that address will appear in your list instead.
When will I receive my bonus points?
Once your referral qualifies as a Successful Referral, bonus PayRewards Points will be allocated to both you and your referral within 30 days of qualification.
Can I refer more than one person?
Yes — there's no limit on the number of referrals you can make. Each successful referral earns you both 5,000 PayRewards Points.
Can I send a reminder to someone who hasn't completed the milestone yet?
Yes. From the Refer and Earn page, you can send one automated reminder per day to any referral with a Pending status.
Can the referral reward stack with a sign-up offer?
Yes. A new customer who signs up via a referral link can qualify for both the referral reward and any active sign-up offer. Each program has its own spend threshold and qualifying period.
