Identity Verification
During onboarding, you'll be asked to verify your identity. The exact information we request depends on your business location and entity type. We may also need to verify other individuals who own or control the business.
Before you can make transactions, we collect some personal information, including your Social Security number.
In some cases, we may also require a government-issued ID, such as:
- A driver's license
- A state-issued ID card
- A passport
- A passport card
A few things to know:
- PayRewards does not trigger a credit check and has no effect on your credit score
- If your information can't be verified on the first try, we may ask you to confirm a few details or provide a supporting document
Note: If you don't provide the requested information, or we're unable to verify your identity, we may not be able to process transactions for you and/or close your account.
